This was maybe the biggest thrill of our trip to Florida. We were sitting taking pictures of a pair of Sandhill Cranes with their colts (chicks) in a field. As we were sitting there they moved up towards us as we sat quietly. They started preening and feeding right in front of us, as we sat there photographing and holding our breath in awe. Totally still, silent, and blown away at this sight. What a special moment to cherish.
